Most fundraisers involve selling something. We have all been there - going door to door peddling candy, pepperoni rolls, hoagies, coupon cards and cookies. How many times can you ask your family and friends to buy stuff? It is exhausting and the profits are minimal.
Instead of selling junk food, what if your group offered an experience to your community that not only was memorable and fun but also let you raise all the money your group needs for the year?
We don't make this too complicated.
Once your group decides to do a Dash we ask that you send us a $1000 deposit.
After the Dash is completed we subtract the costs of the race from the total Dash registrations. The cost is usually between $1000 and $2500 depending on the size of your group and also the type of Dash details your group requests.
We then split the remaining proceeds 50/50.
Pricing for a fundraising Dash is based upon vehicles. So rather than a per person cost, the cost if per vehicle.
To determine the price per vehicle we ask 3 questions:
1. What is your financial goal?
2. How many people in your organization will participate?
3. How large is the network of people you will include?
In general we recommend between $150 and $200 per vehicle, which is about $25 to $40 per person depending on how many people a vehicle holds.
The process is pretty simple:
1. We connect over a cup of coffee or perhaps a zoom call to determine your goals and how much you'd like to customize your event.
2. You pick a date for your Dash and send in a deposit.
3. Once we receive your deposit we set up registration for your event on our website.
4. You have everyone register and pay online.
5. You and your group have a crazy-fun experience.
6. We send you a check for the amount of funds your group raised.
The majority of your work is to communicate to your organization and have each person sponsor a vehicle themselves and also include 2-3 other families to also enjoy the Dash.
This is how a simple Dash Fundraiser could work for your group:
1. You have 20 people in your organization and each person not only has their own family participate but gets 2 other families to be in your Dash.
2. You have 60 total vehicles participate and charge each vehicle $150. The total amount is $9000.
3. We subtract $1000 for race costs and then split the remaining $8000.
4. Your organization has a memorable event with tons of great stories AND your group earns $4000.
We have the capability of adding a donation button to your registration page. People who would like to support your cause but are unable to participate can still give by donating funds.
We separate these funds from registration fees. 10% is withheld to cover processing fees with 90% going to your organization.
